The Process

Arclight Woods – Surfboards and Standup Paddleboards are built using the highest standards of construction, from materials to craftsmanship. Arclight succeeds in providing original, one of a kind, high performance Surfboards and Standup Paddleboards for riders of all skill levels – beginners to professional. All of the wood and foam surfboard blanks are hand laminated, and specified for length and width to minimize wood and foam waste. All wood remnants are recycled and managed to be reused in wood tailblocks, wood fins, and wood nose blocks. All Arclight Surfboards and Standup Paddleboards are one hundred percent hand built using the finest sustainably farmed lumber and locally grown woods such as the cherished Hawaiian Koa, Mango, Paulownia, Balsa, and the extremely rare Williwilli Tree. Each signature model can be custom ordered from lengths starting at 9’0” to our 11’6” Standup Paddleboard models. For detailed descriptions of each board model click on ‘THE LINEUP’ tab above.
