Board description:
This board is a true blast to the past. Tear drop inspired outline with full body thickness in the chest. Amazing paddling abilty for a shorter board. The added foam thickness in the chest area acts like a gas peddle on a car, step forward for a boost of speed around sections or Soul Arching bottom turns. Step back over the fin and the board will engage and pivot on a dime. Rails are 50/50 in the nose, soft down rail to the sides of the chest area, blending to hard downrails and a razor sharp rounded pintail. Each Ruth model is custom fitted with an Arclight signature Koa Wood glass-on single fin. This is your go-to soul surfing shortboard. The Ruth model will hold into double overhead wave faces with confidence, and add that little something to your style that you lost when you started surfing your retro fish…just joking but could be true.
